Where we work
Based in Lincolnshire. Working across England.
Drainage requirements are set locally, so knowing which authority you are dealing with matters. These are the areas we work in most, though we take on sites anywhere in England.
Home region
Lincolnshire
Our base. Sites here often involve an internal drainage board as well as the lead local flood authority, which changes what a strategy has to demonstrate and who has to agree it.
LLFALincolnshire County Council, plus the relevant internal drainage board
Most of our work
Greater Manchester & Lancashire
Where the bulk of our schemes are. Dense urban catchments, combined sewers and constrained sites — which is why retrofit SuDS has become something of a specialism.
LLFAEach Greater Manchester borough acts as its own LLFA; Lancashire County Council and the Lancashire unitaries
Cambridgeshire & Milton Keynes
Growth-area residential sites, frequently with water scarcity and adoption questions alongside drainage.
London
Infill and brownfield sites where space for storage is the binding constraint and every borough sets its own bar.
Cornwall & Devon
Steep catchments, rapid response times and coastal outfalls — a genuinely different design problem.
Somewhere else?
Most of our work is done remotely with site visits as needed, so location is rarely the obstacle. If we are not the right fit for a site, we will say so early rather than take it on.
